At Saliba & Associates, professional fees and charges are determined according to the nature of the required service, the time needed to accomplish such a service, the complexity of the legal issue(s) involved, in addition to any extraordinary requests from clients. The Firm applies hourly billing rates, fixed fees, annual retainers, or else, a combination of one or more of these billing methods – as agreed with the client. The fees that we charge are both reasonable and satisfactory to our clients.
Unless otherwise arranged, Bills are submitted monthly, quarterly, or upon the conclusion of a legal service. Each statement includes a description of the services covered by the fees.
Disbursements are normally billed together with fees and are itemized in detail if the client requests so. Disbursement charges are billed at cost and do not involve any profit element. Our accountants review all statements of disbursement before our invoice is issued to the client. Some expense charges, such as telephone or express charge, may lag behind our normal billing cycle. Even if your matter is resolved and you have received what you believe to be the final statement, our office may receive some miscellaneous charges that you will be billed for later on.
